ITB Berlin 2008 - Dances
from Bali, East Borneo and Java Indonesia
invites trade fair visitors to Visit Indonesia Year 2008.
The
vibrant dances, the traditional craftspeople, the special spa feeling and the
exquisite coffee from some of the world's best producing areas are just some of
the attractions which the largest island kingdom in the world will present to
visitors in hall 26B, stand 208 of the ITB, which will take place from 5 to 9
March in Berlin.
After
the record year in 2007, Indonesia
expects another surge of visitors for the Visit Indonesia Year 2008.
Celebrations are under way on all the islands and at the ITB, where several
dance groups will perform in front of the scenery of the world famous Borobudur Temple,
putting the visitors in the mood for Bali, East Borneo
and Java and conveying the very different style of each of the islands and
cultures.
As
always, Bali is the trendy destination per se,
with a worldwide visitor increase of 32% in 2007.This is not surprising as the
Island of the Gods offers a unique combination of stunning nature, preserved
culture and modern zeitgeist; without forgetting the amazing boutique hotels
and the luxury resorts of your dreams, some of the most beautiful golf courses
in Asia, the best diving sites, deluxe
wellness ...
In
addition, all the visitors of the stand can enjoy traditional arts and crafts
and watch Indonesian batik artists, weavers and wood sculptors at work.
Wellness fans can indulge in a spa and enjoy a cup of tea from Java or
exquisite coffee from Sumatra and
Toraja/Sulawesi.
The
neighbouring islands also offer excellent holiday experiences, including
culture, nature, adventure, sport and wellness packages. Ecotourism seems to be
the current trend. Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi or
the Nusa Tenggara islands present unique eco-resorts, whether in coffee
plantations, the jungle or a desert island. You can experience a new type of
nature with extraordinary fauna and flora. The low Dollar rate improves the
cost-performance ratio which is already excellent for Europeans.
During
the ITB, more than 70 Indonesian exhibitors will present various
attractive
holiday offers for the Visit Indonesia Year 2008 - a great opportunity to get
to know the Indonesian island kingdom better.
